Taking Time to see Ordinary Miracles

I watched the live action version or Charlotte's Web with my baby girl, Analeigh, this morning because she was home sick from church with a virus and is running a pretty high fever.  I just love that story-I have probably read the book and and watched the movie a 100 times and I never get sick of it.  If you haven't seen the live action version (by this I mean there are real people and animals in it, not the cartoon one) you must rent it and see it, it is really good and brings me to tears every time.
There are some really great lines between Charlotte and Wilbur, like when she goes to the fair with him and at the end tells him she is dying and will not be going back to the farm with him again because she is too weak and he starts crying and says he can't go back without her and offers to carry her on his back-lots of symbolism in this film.  Another favorite line in the movie is when they are giving Wilbur a medal at the fair for being "Some Pig" and Homer goes on to say that he is a miracle and has made the town see miracles that were never there before, and then he says "Well maybe they were always there, we just couldn't see them before." I often have to stop myself to see the (click on the link to hear the song from the movie) Ordinary Miracles   in every the every day happenings around me-things that truly are miracles if we stop and see them the way they were intended for us to see.

I am so thankful for the "ordinary miracles" that God lets me experience every day, taking time today to praise Him for those things.
On this Pathway-
Jill

Jill,
I'm so sorry to hear that Analeigh is sick! I hope she feels better soon. "Dear Heavenly Father, Please bring quick healing to Analeigh and protect the rest of the family from this illness. Give Jill the strength and endurance and joy she needs, and bless her as she shows the love of Christ to her family. In Jesus' Name."

Thank you for the prayers you've offered up for my family. You are precious, and I appreciate you!

Yes, every day is so richly full of amazing gifts from His hand!

So good! There are gifts are around us. Have you considered making your list of 1,000 gifts? I started mine today. Praying Analeigh is feeling better today.

So true! And when we are listening with our hearts, I believe we are able to hear and see even more of them. Bless you! xo
