God's Splendor

We have Peacocks at our local zoo in Abilene that are allowed to wander around free in the zoo.  We came up on this one the other night while we were there seeing the new Prairie Dog Preserve.  I was able to get really close while he was eating and snap a few photos.  The color on these birds is amazing to me. Absolutely gorgeous!!
God amazes me daily with the time and detail He put in everything He created for us to enjoy.
Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed getting to be this close and see the splendor of God's creation.

Oh my grandfather had peacocks..aren't they beautiful. One time the subject came up for my husband to describe me as a bird...he said I was a peacock..now does that mean I like to strut my stuff? Maybe at that time it did, I was a dance major!
Have an awesome week, and I hope your spring break was great!

I agree they are such beautiful birds. When we were in Germany at a Park they were allowed to roam free. We had one chasing us. It was quite a sight.

Blessings!

Hi Jill, just wanted to say thanks for the comment on my blog. After much prayer, I have decided to remove it. Just wanted you to know as you just posted. =0)

Aren't peacocks colors beautiful? I just love peacock blue!

Thanks for sharing these pictures with us.

When we were in England we went to a castle and peacocks were just strutting their stuff out on the ground. They are so amazing! Just like all of God's Creations!

Jill,
Beautiful photos! I love how God loves color. :)

Peacocks are one of my favorite things to look at, too, when we visit our zoo. The children have to fight the urge to chase them when they want a closer look.

Praying for you!
